The data management and protection market is hot right now and as such Druva has several competitors in the space including Veeam, Commvault, Veritas Technologies, as well as many other smaller players in the space . As with any software solutions business, Druva’s continued success depends on its ability to develop new, cutting edge technological solutions with as few bugs as possible.
n its latest funding round in 2019, Druva raised $130M which places the valuation of the firm at over $1B. Viking Global investors led the round as well as Neuberger Berman, Atreides Management, Riverwood Capital, Tenaya Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners participating. To date Druva has raised $328M.
Druva is at the center of a highly competitive market poised for growth. As such, Druva will be an interesting company to watch in the coming year.
